"Ever since that night, I swore revenge" - Ryan
The rain slowed and began to stop after the night had passed. the morning light was coming into view, and the ground began to freeze over with the coming cold. winter was coming as fall was slowly waning to a close.
At the watchtower hideout closest to the NON lair Ryan activated the defenses. he blew the power of wind into the watch tower and constructs run off the winds power began to churn and began to patrol the area. the watchtower became shrouded in fog, shielding it from Scrying and providing cover. 8 other members proceeded to place traps in the area, frost, fire, arcane, wind, and something special.
In the top of the watchtower the same runes and glyphs in the ruins were present. Ryan walked up into the glyph room and bowed before the dark figure in the middle of the room.
It spoke
"Are you ready?"
Ryan replied
"Yes my master, phase two of the plan is going as you would of hoped, I Trust Cyn performed phase one to your liking?"
The shadow replied
"Indeed he did, he did exactly as instructed, I am very pleased with the progress we are making, do not fail me, your revenge is important too you I understand. but nothing is as important as the plan, do not kill him until it has been carried out."
Ryan's face darkened before he replied
"As my master commands."
The shadow vanished, and a tiny tendril remained for a moment and said one last thing
"Good, if all goes well, then you shall earn the right to keep your title, "Elemental Lord" "
Ryan smiled and left the room, preparing for his dance with destiny.
In the depths of "The Organization" in a stone room transformed into an office, Lannok filled out papers at his desk. he had much work to do to bring all their work to fruition. He looked at the endless papers on his desk depicting the specifics of their plan, the resources they would need, and then finally, the paper of binding. he would receive power over all the elements at the end of this. he would be known as the "Elemental Lord" who ruled over the other Elemental Lords.
He heard a sharp crack in the room to his left and some shrill screaming for a moment as energy seemed to be pulled from the depths of the place and settled into the room to his left.
Lannok sighed
"He must be here"
Cyn opened the door wearing nothing, the runes covering his body glowing fiercely. he grabbed some garb off the rack next too him and then before clothing himself, he stabbed himself in the chest with his bare hand.
Lannok looked at him confused and baffled, unable to look away. Cyn ripped out his blood red sword from his body as his own blood poured out from the gushing wound. within seconds the wound stopped bleeding as the runes glowed a new color, blue and hummed, mending his flesh. he quickly dressed in the all black garb and walked right up to Lannok.
Lannok realizing he was waiting for a response quickly composed himself and Spoke with a commanding presence to Cyn.
"The master says you performed well, you being alive and well shows that well enough. he said for you to head out for the next phase of the plan. we will deal with the council for now, you just focus on the next phase. we have to stay a step ahead of them or the plan will begin to crumble, you understand right Cyn?"
Cyn scoffed at Lannok
"I know far better then you I should think, your not one with the master as I am. unfortunately having my soul being torn across large lengths with nothing but my will to keep it together and reform a new body at the other side, is taxing, to say the least. on the bright side there is no way to track it, so we are safe here for now. I'll get ready, I trust you have an accomplice for me to run with for the next phase of the plan?"
Lannok smirked and replied slyly
"you got it. She will be waiting for you there. remember not to shrink from your duties or you know the price."
Cyn's eyes widened as he heard this
"Your serious She is waiting for me? That's the best accomplice I could have ever asked for. Tell master I am eternally grateful to be reunited so early, even if its merely for another assignment."
Lannok smiled as he replied
"Will do Cyn, keep this up and we will all have what we desire."
with those last words Cyn vanished in a fit of air, dissipating into the rafters, there was no doors to this enclave, merely wind shafts. only the most profound members could penetrate these rooms. Lannok continued paperwork, he hated this part, he wanted to enact the plan already, but they had much to be done before their work came to fruition.
